Erin has her Master's in Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Board Certified in Chinese Herbal Medicine and has nearly 10 years of clinical experience in women's reproductive health.

After 7 years of private practice in NYC, Erin now works with women remotely - from the comfort of their own homes - using custom herbal formulations, nutrition + intuitive life coaching to regain vibrant health. She has particular expertise and additional training in the fields of infertility, postpartum support and female hormonal imbalance. She currently lives in the Teton Valley Mountains with her husband, two daughters + another child on the way!

Our worlds collided through our mutual friend, Kelly Brogan ~ and ever since, she has been prescribing her patients with the magic of flowers to support their hormonal landscape and bring them back to reclaiming their health + life!

We asked Erin a few of our favorite questions to learn more about her hands-on approach to wellness + how the interplay of nature influences her work …

What is your favorite flower + 3 words to describe its personality? Banana Yucca: Clarity, Strength, Confidence.

Banana Yucca was my first flower elixir, and it changed my life. I took it to help transform a part of my professional development, aligning me with my soul’s work, and how to bring that into the world. It was {and is!} extremely impactful for me - especially when considering my wood-element constitutional type. I view this particular flower as having great affinity for the liver energy {wood element} in Chinese Medicine.

{But, I’m also really jazzed about squash blossom, and its effect on the second chakra - bringing life, creativity and juiciness to women! It's been transformative for my clients}.

How does nature influence your work?
Nature influences every aspect of my work. I'm a health coach with a background in Chinese Medicine, Tibetan Medicine, Shamansim and Birth Work. All of these teachings superimpose natural laws onto human physiology - on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels. We can learn so much about how our bodies work from the laws of nature. When I work with a client, I am continuously noticing the interplay of nature in their symptoms and health, as well as using tools for transformation directly from nature {food, herbs, supplements, flower elixirs}.

What's your 'why' behind what you do? What’s the main message you want people to get from your work in the world?
When a woman comes more into alignment with herself and steps into her purpose, she can radiate those gifts out into the world. This is why I do what I do - to play even a small part in the betterment of humanity through the work with one woman fills me with humility and gratitude.
The body is inherently wise and capable, and cultivating a strong intuitive connection is the key to unlocking unbelievable health and healing potential. When women are living in vibrant health, in-tune with their own body-rhythm and cycles - they are an unstoppable positive force in the world.

How have you taken health + happiness into your own hands?
When I was studying in China, I apprenticed with a doctor who told me about their teacher who lived to be over 100. The one thing he did everyday in service of his health, was to look at his tongue first thing in the morning. From this momentary assessment, he could make decisions throughout the day based on his unique state of health. This practice illustrates the dynamic nature of the human body - that what serves us one day, may not be the right choice the next. It acknowledges that we are not static, and honors the transitions we go through just being alive.
Since hearing this story, I have employed the following practice:
Each morning, I take inventory of my energy, sleep, digestion and mood and then move through my day keeping that quick analysis in mind {and, yes, sometimes I check out my tongue, too! But you needn't be educated in this aspect to understand your core health at any given moment}.
Awareness of the unique nature of our body and honoring how to support it has been the key factor in transforming my own health and happiness - and it's my first step in working with women to transform and maintain theirs.

How does your work relate to mindful awareness? What rituals or exquisite practices do you do that trigger more awareness in you?
Mindful awareness is an integral part to maintaining good health and to healing from the root. This always factors into a large part of my work with clients - whether they are coming to me for career advice, or help with their menstrual cramps. It is also imperative to my personal growth + integrity as a practitioner {and a mom!}...it is a non-negotiable part of my daily life - even when daily life seems too full to implement self care!
The exquisite practices that feed me are: meditation, kundalini breath work, herbal teas, and enjoying + preparing nutrient dense meals for myself and my family. I also love integrating flower elixirs throughout my day, as they are so easy to use and deeply transformative.

How has curiosity, discovery + magic played a role in your life’s work?
My work was built on curiosity and discovery before I even knew what I wanted to "be when I grew up."
At the age of sixteen, I left home to live in Europe, and for the next eight years traveled all over the world studying local healing traditions, languages, plants and foods. In a magical way, one destination and experience led to another. I knew I was gathering insight from a deep curiosity within - one that would reveal the "why" later in life. This lineage of experiential and academic education has dramatically impacted both the way I have chosen to navigate my own health journey and  how I assist others on theirs.

What does a radiant and vibrant hormonal landscape look like to you?
A radiant and vibrant hormonal landscape is when a woman can live in-tune with her endocrine rhythm. The female hormonal system is deeply interconnected to the intuitive self, so when these areas are illuminated they mutually benefit each other.  A hormonal symptom is simply a signal from your body that something is out of alignment. When a woman is connected to her intuitive health, she can often make subtle adjustments to bring things back into balance. If the symptom is stubborn or deeper, then there are natural tools to support that process.
What is ONE thing you wish every woman incorporated into their daily routine? How would it change the world?
Self love and acceptance for where you are in life. In struggle, pain, overwhelm, joy - it is all part of the journey. If you are stuck, ask for guidance. But know that wherever you are at right in this very moment is OK, and completely transformable if you want it to be.
Accepting what "is," is the first step to change. It allows us to see clearly and take empowered action versus action as a result of fear. Moving from this place of centered strength, especially when united, will change the world.
How would you describe the power of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 3 sentences or less?
Chinese medicine offers unique insight to the impact of emotions on physiological health, therefore integrating mind, body and spirit into the healing strategy. Once individual patterning is understood, natural tools can be used to support and transform discomfort - from the root.
