One of the most meaningful things we did in California in March as part of our Wave of Pure Intent Tour was a Land Blessing Ceremony, in response to the recent fires that destroyed thousands of homes & structures in Los Angeles County.
It was a free event ~ a gathering of anyone & everyone who had the heartfelt intention to offer a blessing to the land and the families who lost their homes.
We originally planned to host the land blessing on a piece of property that was affected by the fire, but those roads are still closed, and even hard to access for residents.
Instead, we met on Venice Beach, where in the distance on a clear day, you can see the areas that had burned along the coast, like the Pacific Palisades & Malibu.
When the fires first started burning in January, we assembled our community for several Green Tara ceremonies at the Self-Arising Nature Center here in Arizona. We invited people to join us virtually & in-person and offer donations. We raised thousands of dollars with everyone’s contributions, and were able to offer generous donations to multiple families who lost their homes & all of their possessions in the fires.
These ceremonies were a way for us to offer a space for our community to make prayers for swift-acting protection and provide a net of safety & mental stability in a time of great hardship.
This was a special offering to do back in January, and it was even more amazing to be in California to do the same thing again on the ground.
We had the most eclectic & joyful group show up for the land blessing ...
Alan’s friend Catherine, and her husband & son. They spent the last 2 years gutting & renovating their home in the Palisades. They had just moved back into it in December of 2024. With not even a month living in their newly remodeled house, it was burned to the ground completely.
Claudia, host of Healing the Source Podcast, and her mother. During the fires, Claudia received a giant package of flower essences from us & helped distribute them to those who needed them most.
Ryan from MUD\WTR :gather & his little dachshund (who was a huge highlight)!
Mykyta & Yurii, who generously donated their time & talent to document this ceremony!
Natalie's parents Carol & Vinnie from New York, and older brother Joey. Joey has helped connect us to so many movers & shakers in the LA area.
Rebecca Casciano, her husband Deepu & their nephew. Rebecca was my makeup artist from a shoot I did in New York many, many years ago. We’ve stayed connected ever since. The last time we saw each other was in New York for our Love Flowerlounge ~ she’s in this video of people sharing love notes to the world.

We asked everyone to bring some kind of offering to make to the land.
The giant pile of offerings included:
Big juicy oranges
Long stem roses
Organic pineapple sauce
Cookies
Pure water
Sparkling water
Nourishing nettle-spearmint tea
Orange juice soda
Coconut water
Flower petals
Flower elixirs & aura mists
While we were waiting for everyone to arrive, we passed around the tops of hundreds of roses that weren’t fully opened up yet. We used our fingers to massage them open, to help them bloom & turn into big giant, gorgeous rose offerings!
With the sunshine blazing, we sat in a circle and did the Green Tara practice on the beach. After we made our final dedications for the land to revitalize & renew, we shared & enjoyed all the goodies that everyone brought as offerings.
Then we gathered all the flowers, and brought them down to the water. Each person took a giant handful & held them at their hearts. We stood in a circle, made wishes & prayers for the land to heal & recover and for everyone on the land to become limitlessly happy & healthy ~ and then we threw them into the sky!
