We've been following this woman on Instagram for a while now and are always in awe of the colorful + flower-powered recipes she shares on her feed. And then ... she started adding flower essences into the mix and we had to share!
"As a chef who works with plants I felt really connected & inspired when I found LOTUSWEI, I tried Rose of Venezuela last year and it was the catalyst to a very profound and amazing change. It's great to experience the power & magic of flowers, so I created this recipe to incorporate your favorite flower elixir in the morning as a ritual.
Breakfast usually sets the mood for the day, so what better way to start the day than with the power of super foods and flowers. This is a really easy recipe that you can make the night before.
For this recipe I used Rose of Venezuela flower elixir (my personal favorite), and my intention was to believe in myself and believe in my abilities to finish a project."
FRUITS FOR TOPPING:
(feel free to use any fruits you like for toppings)
FOR THE OATS:
SUPERFOODS:
FLOWERS:
Flower elixir: Rose of Venezuela 5 drops
Mix almond milk, salt, vanilla, & date sugar and set aside (date sugar is optional).
Divide the almond milk into six containers and add each super food to make 6 colors (or as many as you like).
Add 2 Tablespoons of oats into each container and put in the fridge overnight.
The following day the oats will be soft and ready to eat.
Plate using each oat color, be creative and have fun!
Top with fruits, edible flowers and the final magic touch: set your intention as you hold your favorite flower elixir, take the dropper and add 5 drops on top of your oats.
Enjoy!
